How is Your Focus?

Focus on growing your business by engaging in these activities:
1) Use Ocean FarmaSea each & every day yourself!

2) Making a contact list. Don't leave anyone off of it. Contact them just to catch up & see how things are going. Tell them you're sending them something in the mail that you've come across that you think they might appreciate. Then send them a copy of the new DVD-"Another Day". If appropriate can tell them about what you have been doing-using these products that really help you feel better.

3) Get out and meet new people. Build new relationships and introduce them to the DVD & Ocean FarmaSea.

4) Set specific times/days you can do this business, and use the time to set appointments or to enroll new customers consistently.

5) Set appointments to share the products with someone every day.

6) Do presentations -in home, in person, at another location, over the phone.

7) Do quality follow up calls.

8) Celebrate success.

9) Stick to your plan. Things will try to interfere. But ask yourself when they do, "will this help me to achieve that goal I have of being debt-free or whatever dream I have?"

10) Lead by example (use the products, attend conference calls & trainings, etc.).

11) Set goals, and create an action plan to achieve them.

12) Think LONG TERM and keep at it.

13) TEAM UP with a couple people above you and/or below you to grow your business faster. This creates accountability.

What should I be doing to move my business forward?

90% of your business time every day should be completely devoted to critical activities--that will result in getting a new member, or customer …not researching the origins of tea tree oil, not straightening up your desk, etc.

Here are the 7 critical activities

ACTIVITY 1: Keep Building Your Contact List
ACTIVITY 2: Make new Friends and Set Appointments
ACTIVITY 3: Have a Fondue Party
ACTIVITY 4: Follow-Up With Your Prospects
ACTIVITY 5: Celebrate Success
ACTIVITY 6: Attend all Conference Calls
ACTIVITY 7: Have More Fondue Parties, where you show the DVD s-The Torch (the 1st 4 chapters) & "Another Day". .

ACTIVITY 1: Keep Building Your Contact List
Your contact list is a resource that should never run dry. Don't leave home without it…and continue to add names.

ForeverGreen places great emphasis on reaching out to family, friends, and people you know as well as your community. We call this "love sharing". You can do this very successfully!

ACTIVITY 2: Make New Friends and Set Appointments
If you don't have appointments set on your calendar, you're out of business! Set appointments consistently. Keep scheduling & hosting those Fondue Parties.

This is NOT a "when I feel like it" kind of activity. This is a MUST. And you have to write it on your calendar. Commit to a time to be certain that it happens.

ACTIVITY 3: Make Presentations
The most productive and rewarding activity you can do is present the Forever Green products.

Strengthen your belief system in the following areas, in order to have a powerful close:
1 - PRODUCTS
2 - COMPANY
3 - SUPPORT

ACTIVITY 4: Follow-Up With Your Prospects
10,20, 30 day follow-up with a new customer is crucial to make sure that they are taking the products right, answer any questions or concerns, see if they want to refer someone who might be interested in trying the products.

Basic principles of effective training your team include:

Always stay product-focused. Educate people on the real value of being a customer. The products are the foundation of this business.

Be sure to follow the 10, 20 30 day customer follow-up with everyone in your business.

Take the initiative. You enrolled them. Now own up to your responsibility to help them achieve their goals.

Anytime you talk, have a very clear picture of what's next and an exact day and time set for when you are talking again.

Strive for inter-dependence...not co-dependence, not independence. You want to not only teach people our duplicable system, but also teach them to be able to teach others. You do this by teaching people how to find answers and use resources, not by simply giving them all the answers.

Be systematic and check things off as they are accomplished. This will help you to stay sane when you are training several people at once.

ACTIVITY 5: Celebrate Success
Recognize and celebrate every achievement in your organization and make the journey enjoyable.

A little recognition goes a LONG way to inspire, motivate, fulfill and build momentum on your team. "Rewarding effort is a great way to make sure that effort is repeated."

Fun celebration ideas include:
Animated emails
eGreeting Cards
Flowers
Balloons
Reward with Learning resources (a T-shirt or presentation folder from the company)

It's not just about recognizing the BIG things. It's also about noticing every little success along the way. Perhaps a celebration of the first time he/she holds a Fondue Party independently.

Here are some other ideas for recognition:

When they sell their 1st Bottle of Ocean FarmaSea, you might give a phone call, card or certificate
When they get their 1st Member, you might give a phone call or card or send a couple of invitations or other tools (with their names on it) that they can pass out.

When they advance to Learning, you might send a card or couple of brochures or other tools (with their names on it) that they can pass out.

When they advance to Determined, you might send a certificate for lunch, a motivational or biz. training book or CD

When they advance to Successful, you might for a local enrollee, arrange a special dinner night in their honor, a certificate, ribbon or card, a motivational book or CD

When they advance to Full Time, you might send a card and Forever Green merchandise. For a local enrollee, arrange a special dinner night in their honor

When they advance to Free, you might send a card and flowers. For a local enrollee, arrange a special dinner night in their honor.

Key point: This business is multi-dimensional. It's about a lot more than financial wellness. It's also about growing as a person. When people step out of their comfort zone, strive to be coachable and always ready to change and improve, then the rewards are boundless and it will spill over into being a more effective person in virtually every area of their lives.

ACTIVITY 6: Attend all Conference Calls
Keep plugged into success! As you join with others to create successful teams, you'll discover greater synergy and faster growth.

Our Conference Calls are a wonderful way to tap into additional structure and accountability.

ACTIVITY 7: Attend Matrix Meetings when you qualify
Each meeting is a chance to refocus, prioritize, and lend support to you as a member. Be there!

Don't miss the chance to experience Forever Green face-to-face. Key events include conference calls, Matrix Trainings, The annual Convention, etc.

Be sure to check out the event listings in your ForverGreen back office for trainings in your area so you can gain new insights and actually put some faces with names.

How do successful people build?

Since the advent of the Internet we’ve seen a belief develop that people can build a business using systems, safe lists, email blasting and the like. I believe this is a major cause for huge frustration in the networking industry as thousands have spent time and money, jumping from deal to deal only to get sold by the next incoming hype and over promises never deliverable.

So how do successful people build a network marketing business?

First it begins with being absolutely focused long-term goals and refreshing those goals often. Never losing site of where we want to be next year and in ten years.

Second we must keep focused on keeping a daily plan in motion towards the target goals. A plan founded on small daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, every day taking small steps that add up and compound over time into major achievements.

Third get out of the house and get into the world of people all around us. Have a blast window shopping for people! Go to malls, small stores, local events, art shows, music shows, chamber of commerce mixers… In other words get out and talk to people and keep your eyes open for the What’s Happening section in the paper! The bottom line is we need to expose our business to the world around us.

We want to target our market to those who are focused on health or are in need of improving their health as well as those who have the desire to improve their financial situation. Disease is being out of balance thus health is being in balance.

In addition to the world of people around us approach we can use the Internet as an additional source or prospects – not the only source. The power of using a huge filtering system to move through millions of people to find the few who truly are looking.

It’s all part of the process as success in any business is a game of numbers. It doesn’t matter if we’re building a retail store, a franchise operation; a company trying to distribute a new product, to a network marketing company, the goal is to find those who see the value in what we are offering.

Statistics tells us that over 90% of people we meet are just getting by financially. If they lost their job they have about a 2 – 3 month window before they’re in financial trouble! So they’re always living from pay check to pay check and bill to bill.

We have the power to open a door of opportunity and empower these individuals to achieve more. To show them there is another way and they don’t have to be a prisoner of a JOB! The new DVD-"Residual Eyes" is powerful for this. We’re not there to sell or to convince but rather to open the door and help those who have the desire.

If you allow the “stuff” of life to get in your way each day you’ll never reach a huge long-term goal. Ask yourself if what you’re doing or about to do is going to take you towards or away from your long-term goal. The laundry must be done however get it done and then get back in focus and fast! You can break your “to do” list into goals towards the goal on the left and chores on the right of the page. Organization can help us become very efficient with out time!

2005-2006 will be your best year ever (starting with your health!) if you stick to your commitments and put in the hard work necessary to reach your goals and dreams!
